Connecting to Your Breath (4-2-6 Breath Practice)
Week 2 Video
This simple breath practice helps you slow down and connect to the present moment. By inhaling for four seconds, holding for two, and exhaling for six, you signal safety to your nervous system, bringing calm and clarity. This will depend on how deep you want to get with the conversations with your youth! Average times are 5 minutes week 1 and up to 15 for week 2 through 4.

For elementary-age children, we’ve found the experience is most impactful when done together. While some of the language may be a bit advanced for 1st and 2nd graders, the content is easy to understand when shared aloud. We've seen great success when a parent reads each page to their child, or they read it aloud together. This simple act not only supports comprehension—it also sparks meaningful connection and heartfelt conversations.
